Dr James Pomfret
BSC(hons) dmd syd
associate dentist
James studied dentistry at The University of Sydney, graduating in 2017. Since then he has been working with us as an assoicate dentist and we are so glad to have him.
James enjoys all aspects of dentisty with particular interest in implant restorations, minor oral surgery, and endodontics. James’ compasionate nature makes for a calm and enjoyable visit. Terrible singing and awful dad jokes are almost a guarantee with any visit! He’s also excellent with children and helps them feel comfortable.
Originally from Canada, James moved to Sydney in 2014 and has since fallen in love with this beautiful city and country. He enjoys anything ocean related, ice hockey, snowboarding and running.
DR EMMA KATZ
Bsc DMD SYD
associate dentist
Born and raised in the great white north, Emma has spent time living in Toronto, Vancouver and Whistler, Canada. She completed her Bachelor of Science at the University of British Columbia in 2014 and spent some time skiing across Canada before coming to her senses and moving to spectacular Sydney to pursue her dental education (and love of the beach). Emma graduated from University of Sydney with a Doctor of Medical Dentistry (DMD) in 2021, having received extra-curricular education from her experience as a dental assistant at Annandale Village Dentistry in 2020 and 2021. She is so excited to have the opportunity to have transitioned to the other side of the suction and take on the role as an associate dentist.
Emma has a relaxed, caring nature and loves having a chuckle with her patients (so long as they don’t bite down on her fingers while laughing). She prides herself on being thorough and communicative, taking any chance she has to educate her patients on their oral health.
Emma has a keen interest in endodontics, restorative dentistry, and occlusion.
In her spare time Emma loves to be outdoors: biking, snowboarding, swimming, hiking, camping, as well as watching/playing/getting too emotionally invested in sports. She’s also been known to enjoy baking a sweet treat from time to time (like the good dentist that she is)
